NOT dealing with it would be the right words. Sam does not like being a big sister at all, although she is sometimes affectionate with her12%
Sister has been unbelievably good with baby from the minute he was born. We anticipated the normal sibling rivalry but there hasn't been any. We both make sure sister gets lots attention and one-on-one time with dad and mom, which I think helps.12%
The three older children love him! The "former baby" has a harder time, and is sometimes overly zealous in his ministrations.12%
Tyler was a little disapointed when Jake was first born that he could not play with him. Now that Jake is bigger they have a great time and Tyler is happy. Jake saves his biggest laughs and smiles for Tyler. If Jake is crying Tyler will stop doing what ever he is doing and go to Jake to make him smile. It is a beautiful thing and I am very proud of Tyler.12%

Almost from birth! Christopher is pretty content, like all but one of his sibs, but was very sensitive to noises and could get overstimulated.12%
OH YEAH!!!!!And the first week we noticed a BIG difference. Samantha has always been difficult from day one (and we love her that much more for all of the sprit that she has, although it can be frustrating at times). Madison is easy, easy, EASY..the very opposite of big sister. I have always said that my girls are like cake (we all love cake) Well, Sam is the cake...Madison is the frosting..I love them both the same, just one is much easier than the other. Does that make any sense? LOL12%
Our kids were different from the start. It is hard to explain specifics but there are lots of things about each one that I often feel are "hard wired" or just the way they were born.12%
Tyler was a little more advetureous than Jake. But I think Jake will walk sooner and Jake is all personality. He LOVES to smile and flirt with people and when he is upset he as such a dramatic way of showing it. First he will look at you and frown with a huge dropped lip (tears are just on the surface of the eyes), then he will just fall to the ground and put his head down as he wimpers and cries. I am a strong Mom but I have fallen to this tactict more than once. Jake's grandparents, daycare teachers and aunt are completly defensless against this attack. It is priceless.

We call this our "restaurant theory of religions". We don't see why you're supposed to have just one religion. If you're going out to dinner, you can eat Chinese food one day, American the next, and Ethiopian food the day after that. We think it'll be neat to do the same thing with religions: take the best from many different religions and find what works best for you. We intend to raise our baby that way.12%

very spiritual - don't believe it should be religious - but realtionship! We started out seeing a regular obstetrician. She was wonderful! But she has 10 partners, any of whom might be present when your baby is born. Some of them work more days than others, with the result that there was about a 1 in 6 chance of my obstetrician actually being there when my baby was born. At the "ob tea" that her office holds so you can meet your obstetrician's partners, so that they're not all strangers to you when you arrive to give birth, I met about half of her partners. Most of them seemed nice enough, but one was really Scary. I knew I didn't even want him in the *room* with me when I was giving birth, let alone having him deliver my baby. Also, it was important to me to know the person who delivered the baby beforehand. So we switched to planning a home birth instead of a hospital birth. We continued seeing the obstetrician, as backup, but started seeing midwives who would deliver our baby at home. We chose the midwives who had delivered my obstetrician's youngest baby. They were great!12%

I was tested a lot during pregnancy, but was pretty much always healthy. Oh, the one test I did have come back abnormal was the one on my thyroid. I have an underactive thyroid, so they tested my thyroid hormone levels regularly during pregnancy. Early in pregnancy they found my levels were low and raised my medication dosage for the rest of the pregnancy. Once I delivered the baby, we went back to my old dosage, which has been fine.
